The Aviators Hockey Program is a comprehensive player development organization dedicated to fostering talent at all levels of competitive hockey. With a structured pathway from youth hockey to junior-level play, the program provides elite coaching, high-level competition, and developmental opportunities for players looking to advance in the sport.

The program consists of four key teams and affiliations:

  • Jr. Elmira Aviators – A premier youth hockey program featuring our development teams. Based in Auburn, New York, the Jr. Aviators serve as a critical development stage, preparing players for higher levels of competition through a rigorous 60-game schedule and participation in top-tier tournaments along the East Coast.

  • Elmira Hockey Academy – A specialized training academy designed to provide advanced skill development, strength training, and hockey-specific education. In partnership with Notre Dame High School, the academy offers student-athletes a unique opportunity to balance academics with elite hockey training. This collaboration ensures players receive a top-tier education while developing their skills in a highly competitive hockey environment, enhancing their prospects for collegiate and junior-level advancement.

  • Binghamton Buzz (NA3HL) – A Tier III junior hockey team competing in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL). The Buzz provides players with high-intensity competition, advanced training, and a pathway toward higher levels of junior and collegiate hockey. With a strong developmental focus, the team prepares athletes for opportunities at the NAHL and NCAA levels.

  • Elmira Aviators (NAHL) – A Tier II junior team competing in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), a premier junior league known for advancing players to NCAA and professional levels. Playing out of First Arena in Elmira, New York, the Aviators offer top-tier competition and exposure for players seeking to reach the highest levels of the sport.

Through these interconnected programs, the Aviators Hockey Program creates a clear developmental pipeline, ensuring players receive the coaching, competition, and training necessary to progress in their hockey careers.
